Hunting By Brooke Koiner The woods are as still as a statue. In the crisp of the great outdoor, winter air. Watching as breath fogged up the clear sky. Wearing camouflage coveralls, turning images into that of a tree. Suddenly, looked down at the camera ,and saw the deer of a lifetime. Thirty what thought to be impossible yards. The arrow put carefully on the pink iced string. The hidden yet seen camouflaged bow string pulled back slowly. Almost like the tiger ready to attack. THWACK!! Right through the PUMP STATION!!! In the deer blind, excitement beyond belief had just taken place. Now the waiting begins in anticipation of following the blood trail. My heart pounds as the lifeless buck comes into view. I had just harvested the biggest buck of my life.
